A Brooklyn based filmmaker and educator with over two decades directing across documentary, narrative, and branded work for Sony Pictures, the BBC, Netflix, Amazon, Gillette, Hyundai, and Nissan. I hold an M.A. in Media Studies from The New School and served as Chair of Film Arts at the New York Film Academy, mentoring emerging filmmakers from more than twenty countries.

For eighteen years at the New York Film Academy, I reviewed creative portfolios for admission and scholarship eligibility. I have also led and sat on panels and webinars on how to compile a portfolio that holds up to that kind of review. I know what admissions looks for, and what they quietly overlook.

Private, individual mentorship on building a creative portfolio. We begin by assessing the work a student already has, then find where new pieces could strengthen the whole. Producing that new work together, from concept to finished piece, is available as an additional service.

Every application tells a story. The work is helping the student find the story only they can tell, and making sure every choice in their portfolio, reel, and personal statement serves it. Sessions are led by questions, not prescriptions. The student does the discovering. The result is work that feels genuinely theirs.
